What makes Enchanted Cakes different from other bakeries?
I am a custom cake studio, not a full service bakery. Celebration cakes
are all I do. Each cake is carefully crafted from the inside out, for deep flavors, luxurious textures, and a beautiful design to complement your wedding. My goal is to make the best cakes in the world. Period.
I am especially known for my chocolate cakes, which have won the Woman's Place Chocolate Fantasy Competition 3 times! This is a charity event that all local high end bakeries enter. Each chocolate cake has over a pound and a half of chocolate in it. Warning! It will ruin you for other chocolate cakes!
Enchanted Cakes taste dramatically better than commercial cakes. I use no artificial flavors. My wonderful 3 Stage Lemon cake is flavored with real lemons and nothing else. I use Tahitian Vanilla beans, not just extract. This gives my cakes a perfume like no other!
No commercial bases, no mixes, no substitutions, no compromises. I use real butter, shell eggs, real cream, real fruit. No preservatives, texturizers, or artificial anything. And I don't beat a lot of air into the batter to cut costs.
My clients and my cakes get my undivided attention. Wedding Cakes are designed in consultation with the Bride and Groom, to complement your wedding colors and themes. We design it, and then I bake it, I decorate it, I deliver it, and I set it up. I take full responsibility for your cake from start to finish. Every detail is important.
I am a legal home baker, licensed and inspected by the state of Pennsylvania. I actually have a certificate on my kitchen wall stating that my kitchen is officially clean and sanitary. How many people can say that?
My cakes have been featured in magazines and newspapers, including Philadelphia Weddings, and American Cake Decorating.
